Shares worth over ₹532 crore changed hands between promoter entities of Hexaware Technologies today, according to data available on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Promoter entity HT Global IT Solutions Holdings today picked up 9.09 per cent stake in the IT firm through the open market route from Parel Investment Holding Ltd, another promoter firm of Hexaware. The shares were bought on an average price of ₹195 a piece, valuing the transaction at ₹532.12 crore.
Atul Nishar, Founder and Chaiman of Hexaware, could not be reached for comments on the transaction.
As on June 30, Parel Investment Holding has a 9.09 per cent stake in Hexaware, while HT Global IT Solutions owned 54.74 per cent of the mid-size IT firm.
Reacting to the development, shares of Hexaware were up by 2.6 per cent to close at ₹201.15 on the BSE.
