Mr Stephen R Pratt, the Global Head of Consulting and System Integration at Infosys, is the highest paid employee in the company.

In its annual report filed on the SEC, the company disclosed that Mr Pratt was paid a gross salary package close to $2 million (Rs 10 crore) that included $1.1 million in bonuses for the FY 2012.

Mr B.G. Srinivas, Head of Europe and Financial Services and Insurance, was the second highest paid employees getting a total remuneration of $1.2 million (Rs 6 crore). The remuneration of Mr Srinivas stood at Rs 4.93 crore in FY 11 and he was second behind Mr Ashok Vemuri who is the Head of Americas and Global Head of Manufacturing, Engineering Services and Enterprise Mobility.

This was marginally higher than Mr Vemuri, whose total remuneration was $1.18 million in FY 12. Interestingly, Mr Vemuri was the best paid employee at Infosys in FY 11 and he drew a salary of Rs 5.32 crore.

As compared to Mr Pratt, Infosys CEO Mr S.D. Shibulal's salary and incentives totalled $123,333 (Rs 61.67 lakh). However, he is the co-founder of the company and enjoys dividends.

The new entrant this year was Mr Prasad Thrikutam, currently global head of the Energy, Utilities and Services practice in Infosys. This segment contributed 32.3 per cent in FY 11 and Mr Thrikutam is a member of the Infosys Executive Council.

Mr Pratt who joined Infosys in 2003 after spending 12 years with Deloitte Consulting as a senior partner is also a co-founder of Infosys Consulting. Further, divisions that Mr Pratt heads account for 30 per cent of Infosys'.

The company has a total headcount of 1.5 lakh employees and in the fourth quarter of FY 12 said that salary hikes will be delayed.
