Mr V. Rajanna, Vice-President and Global Head of Telecom Technology Business Unit at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has been unanimously elected President of ITsAP at its 20th Annual General Body Meeting held recently. Mr Rajanna's term will be from 2012 to 2014. He takes over from Mr M. L. Suresh, CEO and Director, Identis Tech Solutions.

Mr Rajanna has rich and varied experience of over two decades in the Information Technology (IT) arena. He has a dual role and also heads TCS operations in Hyderabad, which is the fourth largest delivery centre of TCS globally.

Mr Rajanna is also the director of APOnline and MPOnline which are the joint ventures between TCS and the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, respectively. He has been the vice president of ITsAP since 2010.

Andhra Pradesh has all the necessary ingredients including availability of talent, world class infrastructure, and a superb business ecosystem to become the number one IT exporter in the country from its current fourth position. ITsAP will work very closely with the State Government , industry, and other industry forums to realize this objective, Mr Rajanna said.
