Mexus Education has launched its Iken-Zing series of interactive touch-read books for children in the 3-7 age-group. The visuals and audio make the story characters come alive, which helps in engaging children, it says.
Scroll or touch the text and images in the book with the help of a pen-shaped audio-tool to have it ‘talk' and emit relevant sounds.
Apart from Iken Stores, the Zing series is available in English and Hindi at outlets such as Crossword Book Store, Landmark, Books and More, Reliance Time Out, Globus, etc, across major cities. It can also be bought from www.ikenstore.com.
The start-up kit is priced Rs 2,499-5,487 and the average add-on book costs Rs 249.
