Telecom council ties up for training

Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) in partnership with World Trade Center Bangalore, Cisco, ITI, and UTL, organised the skills conclave to promote skills development for the telecom sector, taking forward their collective vision of imparting skills training to 80,000 youth across India over the next 18 months. TSSC is an industry led body jointly promoted by Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), Indian Cellular Association (ICA), Telecom Centres of Excellence (TCOE) with governing body members including DeitY, IIM and NSDC. TSSC is mandated to facilitate training of 80,000 people and help infuse ₹80 crore of government support for imparting skills in telecom sector under the recently launched National Skill Certification and Monetary Scheme.
