Tablet maker Wishtel has partnered with Intel for its new range of IRA tablet PCs for enterprise applications in the range of Rs 7,000-18,000.
The product range includes two tablets — IRA IA, operating on an Android OS, and IRA IW, operating on Windows tablets. Further, the new range will be powered by Intel’s Z2500 Series (Clover Trail Plus) Processor 1.2GHZ/2.0 GHz and 3700 Series Baytrail Processor 1.3GHZ/I.8GHZ CPUs and comes in three screen sizes, 7”, 8” and 10.1”, according to a company statement.
Anand Ramamoorthy, Director, Consumption Sales, Intel South Asia said: “There are over 200 million middle-class potential customers in India alone for different screen sizes across different price points and Intel-based tablets provide a balance of performance, battery life and graphics for consumers.”
Milind Shah, CEO of Wishtel, said the IRA range of enterprise tablets are optimised for Mobile Device Management, video conferencing, cloud computing, Office and mail clients, and ERP implementation.
