Chinese internet and technology conglomerate LeEco on Thursday launched its latest Super3 Series Ecosystem television in India, priced between ₹59,790 and ₹1,49,790.

The series comprises three models — Super3 X55, priced at ₹59,790; Super3 X65, priced at ₹99,790; and Super3 Max65 at ₹149,790.

All the three come with a two-year LeEco membership worth ₹9,800. The membership provided with this series includes 2000 full HD/HD films, more than 100 satellite TV channels, 35 lakh songs and 50 live concerts.

“Our newly launched Super TVs is a testimony to our commitment of bringing top-of-the-line devices and services to our Indian users,” said Tin Mok, Vice-President of Le Holdings and Chief Executive Officer of LeEco Asia Pacific.

The Super3 TVs are packed in a metal body, have a Quad-core Cortex A17 CPU, 60 fps 4K video recorder, 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, 4K Ultra HD display, 178 degree wide viewing angle and a high-speed USB 3.0 port, the company said.

Future use

“Having been designed with future user scenarios of video, app and game in mind, our super TVs are future-proof and are truly the leaders among the majority of similarly configured products,” said Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronics, LeEco India. The Super3 TVs will be available to users through LeMall and Flipkart, the company said, adding that pre-sales on both the platforms will be held between August 10 and August 12.

LeEco also plans to hit the brick-and-mortar format in three-four months, and to develop a pan India presence in six months.

The company, which had acquired US-based TV maker Vizio last month in a $2-billion deal, is also planning to manufacture its mobile handsets in India. “There is a plan to make mobile phones in India under the Make in India programme. We will announce about it in the third quarter,” Jain added.
