Aircel has announced free roaming services in the South India. The Five-States-One-Rate scheme enables all its pre-paid and post-paid Aircel customers to roam freely in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
“They don’t need to pay for incoming call charges. The outgoing calls will be charged at a rate of 1 paisa per second for both local and STD calls. Charges for SMS and Pocket Internet packs will remain unchanged and customers can continue to use them as per their already applicable rates and packs,” Aircel’s Circle Business Head (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) has said.
Addressing reporters here on Wednesday, he said the offer is valid with effect from June 11.
