Powerwave Technologies Research and Development (India) Pvt Ltd has received the award for the best services start-up (Indian) from ITsAP (information technology industry of Andhra Pradesh) for 2009-10. Polycom Technology (research and development technology) Center Pvt Ltd won the award for the best services start-up (offishore development centre).
The association gave away awards to products and services companies for excelling in different categories on Wednesday evening. The awards were presented on the second day of the two-day Advantage Andhra Pradesh at HICC facility here.
Sentini Technologies Private Limited was judged as the best among the small and medium enterprises (Indian), while JDA Software India Pvt Ltd was the best established offshore development centre.
In the ITeS segment, DST Worldwide Services India Pvt Ltd was adjudged the best company (Indian), while Corelogic Global Services Pvt Ltd was the best multi-national corporation.
In the tier-II city category, Kenexa Technologies Pvt Ltd was selected the Best IT company (Vizag), while AAM GEO Spatial Tech Pvt Ltd, Hyranks Enterprises and Vectramind received the award for Vijayawada, Tirupati and Kakinada respectively.
Infosys Technologies (own campus) and Wells Fargo (leased campus) were declared the green IT companies of the year.
The other winners with awards: Magna Quest Technologies for Billing (CRM and service fulfilment) — best software (MNC and established category); Squid Design Systems for video processor and DeskStream InfoTech for dynamic virtual desktop (enterprise – early stage), and ProGen Business Solutions for Konnect (enterprise – late stage).
