Mr Sameer Nemavarkar has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for Atos Worldline (formerly Venture Infotek Global) in India. He succeeds the founders of Venture Infotek, Mr Dhruv Khaitan and Mr P.K. Khaitan, who were, respectively, Chairman and Managing Director, until the company was acquired by Atos Origin in August last year. In the new role, Mr Nemavarkar will report to Atos Worldline global CEO, Mr Didier Dhennin. Before joining Atos, he was senior vice president and head of business - retail forex and remittances. Atos Worldline specialises in electronic payment services (issuing, acquiring, terminals, card and non-card payment solutions and processing), and provides electronic services for customers, citizens and communities.
