Rockwell Automation, Microsoft, Cisco, Belden and a host of others are to participate in a major event on automation in Hyderabad.
The two-day event, Rockwell Automation on the Move – Connect 2011 will begin on August 16. Mr Douglas Belin, Industry Lead, CISCO, Singapore, Mr Moothy Uppuli and Mr Bhaskar Joshi – Microsoft, GM, Mr Bob Ruff, President Rockwell Automation, Asia Pacific, and Mr Dilip Sawhney, Regional Director and Country Head, Rockwell Automation India, will take part in the discussions.
Manufacturing is the backbone of any economy. It has to be smart, safe and sustainable, and be able to compete with other industrialised countries. Automation does all this. Therefore the event assumes significance, a press release said. —
