Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to launch Gionee smartphones manufactured at the Foxconn facility in Sri City at an event in Visakhapatnam later today.
The Chief Minister had earlier launched Xiaomi phones made at Sri City in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.
The Taiwanese company has set up a manufacturing base for mobile phones in Sri City and has already begun the deliveries of Xiaomi, following it up with Gionee, and has tied up with Asus to make their phones at Sri City.
