E-commerce Summit organised by the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will he held in Chennai on December 1.
The conference with the theme ‘Next Generation E-Commerce—Opportunities and Challenges’ will address the pent-up demand in the E-commerce ecosystem, according to a press release.
The conference comes at a time when the industry is growing at a CAGR of 35 per cent in India and is expected to touch $100 billion by 2020.
Though internet access and penetration of smart phones have brought more consumers online, there are several challenges like credit card theft and other security issues.
