V Balakrishnan, former CFO of Infosys who is currently the Chairman of Exfinity Fund has joined the Board of Bengaluru-based Clonect Solutions.
The startup which provides compliance and risk management solutions for companies has also raised funding of $250,000. This angel investment has come from Bala, along with TV Mohandas Pai, another former CFO of Infosys, who is currently chairman of Manipal Global Education and BC Prabhakar, who was former board member of Wipro, company officials said. Further, Bala along with the other investors will mentor Clonect in the area of regulatory compliance area.
While this investment that Bala has made is in his personal capacity, he is also a part of Exfinity, a tech-focused venture fund that invests in startups.
