The company has also designed its own streaming device called Cinehome Home Theatre PC that can support delivery of ultra high definition (4K) and 3D.

Through Cinehome, customers can access live TV channels, video on demand (movies, TV serials), e-books, e-education and video games.

Movie library The platform will also have a library of movies, a selection of latest movies, documentaries, video albums, live events and stage shows.

“In the international market, we plan to reach out to non-residents based in the UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, West Asia and Far East,” said Anil Nair, CEO, Cinesoft.

This will give them access to the CineHome digital movies library with more than 2,000 Malayalam titles. They can also view live events and small private functions at their convenience from anywhere.

“In our next phase of growth, we plan to provide content in all South Indian languages,” Nair added.

Until recently, television channels needed the service of satellite DTH or cable networks to deliver content to customers.

With the availability of internet and high-speed broadband, it becomes possible to deliver content even without. Cinesoft has necessary technology and services to help them reach customers through OTT, Nair said.
