Connect, the annual event, which showcases the strength of Tamil Nadu in the areas of information, communication and technology, this year will focus on innovation and emerging entrepreneurship in the State.
"Entrepreneurship and innovation is taking place, but we have been ignoring this in Tamil Nadu," said Mr S. Mahalingam, Chairman of Connect 2011 and Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Tata Consultancy Services.
The event will be held on December 20 at the Chennai Trade Centre, he told reporters.
The event will be more oriented towards the small and medium size companies, he said.
