CtrlS to invest ₹1,200 crore over 3 years
Datacentre services provider CtrlS plans to invest ₹1,200 crore over the next three years. At the opening of its Bengaluru datacentre, CtrlS said that with data exploding and companies increasingly wanting to host their data on third party-owned datacentres, the company is looking to augment its capacity by launching a centre each in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The Tier 4 datacentre in Bengaluru will serve banking, insurance, e-commerce and internet organisations. “As internet use expands across the country, and as more and more users adopt to mobile internet and content creation, the requirements for an ‘always-on’ datacentre is even more keenly felt,” said Sridhar Pinnapureddy, founder and CEO, CtrlS.
