The information and communication technology division of education solutions provider Educomp has bagged two multimedia content development projects valued at Rs 6.81 crore from Gujarat and Assam governments.

Under the five-year project, Educomp will develop and install 2D/3D-based multimedia content across 3,500 government schools in Gujarat. It will also develop a Web portal for learning management.

The project includes development of multimedia learning content in Gujarati medium for class VIII to X covering the core subjects of English, mathematics, science and social studies.

In Assam, Educomp has signed an agreement with Axom Sarba Siksha Abhijan Mission, for providing computer-aided learning solutions in 2,199 middle schools.

It will develop, supply and install multimedia-based educational content for computer-based education in science, mathematics and English in three vernacular languages -- Assamese, Bodo and Bengali for Class VI and VII.
