After a brief 10-month stint at Capgemini as COO — Business Services, Sandeep Dhar has joined Hexaware Technologies as President — Customer Experience Transformation in Chennai, effective February 16.
In his new role at Hexaware, Dhar will draw on three decades of expertise and experience spanning multiple industries including banking, retail, IT and business process, where he worked with cross-cultural teams across Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Hexaware is a global provider of IT, BPS and consulting services with revenue of over $607.5 million, 33 global offices, 328 active customers and over 13,700 employees. The company’s delivery centres are located in Mumbai, Chennai, Nagpur, Pune, Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Noida.
“Customer experience has been a long standing passion for me, right through my career spanning the last 30 years,” Dhar told BusinessLine . “In my role as President – Customer Experience Transformation, I will help customers transform their customers’ experience, using design principles and digital technologies through their entire lifecycle,” he said.
Dhar joined Capgemini last April after a three-year stint as an angel investor and strategic advisor to a handful of start-ups. Prior to that, he was CEO of Tesco Hindustan Service Centre, a subsidiary of the UK-based retailer, Tesco Plc for five and a half years.
