Exatron Servers Manufacturing Private Limited will set up a manufacturing and assembly plant at the Industrial Park Electronic Manufacturing Cluster at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
The firm will invest ₹360 crore in the next five years to develop the facility. Construction work will commence next month. Over the next five years, it projects creation of 900 jobs at the plant.
“We expect that the products from the unit will be ready for commercial shipments in the next nine months,” a company statement said.
The facility, which will have a built-up area of two lakh sq ft, will produce high-end computing servers and storage products. “It will help meet the growing needs of the data centre and cloud market in the country. There is a surge in demand for servers in the domestic market,” Suryanarayanan B, Chief Executive Officer of Exatron, said.
