FindYahan.com, a hyper-local marketplace for services, has raised an undisclosed amount in its second round of funding from The Phoenix Fund. The fund also has investments in startups such as Hopscotch, overcart.com, and Net2travel, among others.
FindYahan.com, a portal that connects skilled individuals and home businesses with customers, will use the funds to further grow the team and strengthen operations and technology.
It has raised a seed round led by Microsoft India’s MD Karan Bajwa; Sunjay Kapur, MD, Sona Koyo Steering; Amanpreet Bajaj, India Head, Airbnb.com; and Parvesh Kumar, MD, Helios Packaging Pvt Ltd.
Founded by Rachit Mathur and Snehil Khanor, the portal has operations in Delhi/ NCR currently. It has over 1,00,000 users and 4,000 suppliers. The portal helps users find a range of services from plumbers to event managers.
