Payments technology provider FINO PayTech has tied up with online travel aggregator Yatra.com to offer services to the low income group and migrant workers through its physical retail outlets FINO Money.
According to the payment solution company, Fino's customers, who are mostly in the low-income group and migrant workers from Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, would be able to access information on pricing, availability, and booking facility for ticket services, hotel bookings and holiday packages.
Earlier, these customers would have either take the help of agents or stand in queues to book their tickets.
Shailesh Pandey, Vice-President (Product & Strategy) at FINO PayTech, told BusinessLine that this tie-up is a step in the direction to establish FINO Money as a dominant player in retail business. With the growing aspirations of middle-class families, we believe this association provides us a great opportunity to grow our customer base, diversify our product offerings, and definitely enhance our profitability.”
Yatra services will be made available to FINO Money customers across 60,000 urban and rural areas in 14 States through a network of 10,000 points, including 400 company owned outlets.
