Foyr.com, a tech-based home decor solutions start-up, has raised $3.8 million in Series-A funding. Property consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and a few individual and non-institutional investors joined this round of funding.

The Hyderabad-based start-up uses 3D visualisation technology and virtual reality to create an immersive 3D model of property spaces. “A walk through the virtual model from every angle will give the viewer a realistic point of view of the space,” Foyr’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer Shailesh Goswami said.

Foyr.com, which had raised seed funding from Astarc Ventures and Brick Eagle, would use the funds for deeper integration of its technology in real estate projects and for expansion of the brand abroad.

Anuj Nangpal, CEO of Real Estate Technology Fund, sees potential for Foyr’s technology. “It will help in the development of the real estate industry as we know it,” he commented.
