Geometric today inaugurated its new facility in Hinjewadi, near Pune. The day marks the 20th anniversary of its being spun off from Godrej & Boyce and becoming an independent company.
Manu Parpia, MD & CEO, said: “We were the first company to start building facilities in Hinjewadi, and Pune has been at the heart of our global delivery organisation ever since. We are very pleased with our move from leased offices to an owned premise, which not only reinforces our commitment to this city, but will improve our G&A costs.”
The new facility, which can seat 500 employees, will be a critical component in the company’s growth – as it is also home to Geometric’s R&D and IP team.
Geometric is a leader in product lifecycle management, global engineering services, and offshore software product development solutions and technologies. It has four other offices in Pune, two buildings housing its joint venture company, 3DPLM Software Solutions Ltd, and two leased premises in an SEZ.
