Have you had a heated argument with a friend, dropped him or her one of those long unending e-mails and immediately regretted sending the same? Well, there is some good news for you.
Google's Gmail has now made available its e-mail recall option for all web users. This feature was earlier only in the beta version.
The “Undo Send” option allows users a few extra seconds where you can “re-call” or “call back” the email sent. However, it does not let you take out an email from someone else’s inbox.
To active the “Undo Send” service, an user needs to go to the “Settings” option in the menu (located below the profile photo) and will then have to scroll down to activate “Enable Undo Send”.
The option also lets you customise the cancellation period (after sending the email) to a minimum of five seconds or a maximum of 30 seconds.
