Hyderabad gears up for yet another hackathon – PaaSian. Using Progress Soft’s Pacific RollBase, start-ups can build their ideas to win prizes during the event beginning on Saturday. Pacific RollBase is a platform-as-a-service offered by Progress Software launched recently. “We will have experts to cover the basics on getting started with the solution,” an organiser has said. “This tool requires 80 per cent clicks and 20 per cent code,” he said, the solution involves less of coding. The winner will get prize money of ₹10,000 and also a start-up kit from Nasscom $25,000. All the participants will get $200 worth credit from Amazon, who is partnering with PaaSian and Weekend Ventures to hold the event.
