National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) introduced FASTag in the year 2014 to provide for hassle-free toll payment. FASTag is a kind of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology-enabled card that lets drivers pay their toll tax electronically at toll booths.

One can avail the benefit of FASTag from the Point of Sale (PoS) locations at toll plazas or any distribution agents. People can also get FASTag from PoS outlets of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NECT) banks like State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank. To cut the physical effort of getting a FASTag, one can also head to www.nhai.gov.in website.
