There is no need to go for an expensive CCTV set up if you want to keep a small area under surveillance, especially if you want to monitor only occasionally.
You will need a mobile with camera, a power source and enough bandwidth to stream the video.
This tutorial is for Android.
First, download the Ipwebcam app from the Google Play Store. In the menu, scroll down and click on 'Start Server' to begin streaming. Position the mobile covering the area you want to stream.
To view the stream, sign in to Ivideon.com . ivideon also has an app. Go to the ipwebcam app and click on Cloud Streaming. You will see an option to link the ivideon account.
How to view:
Once the Ivideon account is linked, open the Ivideon site and login. If you have lined the Ivideo account in Ipwebcam, you will see the video thumbnail. Click on it to view the live video from your mobile.
