iGATE Corporation has bagged a five-year Federal GSA (General Services Administration) schedule IT contract. The company has also been awarded a Mentor-Protégé agreement by the Federal Government.
Mr Phaneesh Murthy, CEO, iGATE said, “These two contracts are important milestones in our endeavour to become a leading technology provider to the Federal Government.”
The GSA is used to establish government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to various products and services and this contract means that services offered by iGATE will be available to federal, State and local government agencies.
The Mentor-Protégé Programme is designed to encourage companies to assist small businesses.
