IBM today announced the successful implementation of SAP ERP solution and signing of a three-year Application Maintenance Services (AMS) contract for monitoring and management of this application for Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Ltd.
Ratnamani is a multi-product, multi-location public limited company based in Ahmedabad, providing piping solutions to a range of industries. The implemented solution has helped Ratnamani reduce operational costs and enhance business operations with the help of experts from IBM, according to a release here.
Ratnamani adopted the ERP solution to bring quality improvement in its business processes for production of a range of stainless steel welded / seamless tubes and pipes and carbon steel pipe that cater to almost all the emerging sectors like oil and gas, refineries, petrochemicals, process industries, power plants, fertiliser plants and water distribution across the globe. IBM completed the solution implementation in 2010 covering all processes in the Ratnamani manufacturing facilities in Gujarat.
