Bucker, a mobile assistance app, closed a seed round lead by angels from the Silicon Valley and 50k Ventures. Incubated at the International Information Technology (H), the start-up integrates all the relevant apps that offer a similar service and pops up the info, making it easier for the user.

Developed by IIIT (H) alumni, the app serves as an assistant for the user by comparing the services and prices offered by different players in a particular category.

The other backers of the seed round include Munish Jauhar of Indian Angel Network, Pulkit Jain of Vedantu, Rohit Narang of Singapore-based 314 Capital.

“It currently integrates 10 apps including Uber, Ola and TaxiForSure for cab services, FoodPanda, Faasos, Swiggy and Tinyowl for food ordering and PayTM, Mobikwik and Freecharge for recharges,” a Bucker statement said here on Friday.

The firm said it would use the proceeds on manpower and expansion of the scope of the services.

“Launched in November 2015, we have about 10,000 users,” Ravneet Singh, a co-founder of Bucker, said.
