City-based startup, IndiaBizForSale.com announced its 5th round of business buyer meet to be held in Ahmedabad on December 1. The online platform launched in 2014, will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs and SMEs to sell their businesses to prospective investors/buyers.
Co-founder Bhavin Bhagat stated that the Business Buyer meet will provide an attractive deal making opportunity to the investors, buyers and business owners in a very transparent manner.
According to Bhagat, the prospective buyers or sellers of the businesses will be provided guidance by the experts from IndiaBizForSale on the crucial areas of business valuations, business plan and presentations. The event, also supported by Indus Mentors, eChai Ventures, Innocity and TiE as event partners, is aimed at facilitating transactions for business buyouts. The platform, which has over 10,500 registered users, covers over 50 business verticals spread across more than 200 cities of the country.
According to Bhagat, over 3,700 businessmen are connected with the platform to either develop a business or exit from a business. So far, IndiaBizforSale has facilitated deal transactions of over ₹100 crore.
Companies in the areas of pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, staffing, IT-ITeS, FMCG, healthcare, financial services and education units having turnover in the range of ₹50 lakh to ₹50 crore were transacted for a buyout or sell-off deals.
