Infinix, a mobile brand of Transsion Holdings, on Tuesday launched its Smart 3 Plus smartphone in the country, at ₹6,999.
This is the first smartphone under ₹7,000 that comes with a triple camera option, according to the firm.
Infinix will sell the phone exclusively on Flipkart starting April 30.
“Through offerings such as triple camera and an immersive experience enabled by AI, Smart 3 Plus will be able to offer high-end experience for first-time smartphone users,” said Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix India.
Benefits for Jio users
“Smart 3 Plus clearly adds a new dimension to our product portfolio, while adding an aspirational value to the budget smartphone segment at large,” Kapoor added.
The phone will come with Android’s latest 9.0 Pie operating system along with a 3,500 mAh battery and a 6.2-inch HD+ display.
Infinix will also offer benefits worth ₹4,500 for Jio users.
