Infosys plans to acquire Fluido, a company with a presence in the Nordic region.
While India’s second largest software exporter did not disclose the size of the deal, it said that Fluido’s consulting capability as a Salesforce advisor is something that the company gains.
Infosys, in a statement, said that the acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of fiscal 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.
President and Deputy COO Ravi Kumar said, “Fluido will be an important addition to the Infosys family, bringing a unique combination of market presence, deep salesforce expertise, agile delivery and training that, combined with our existing capabilities, will help companies re-imagine and transform their businesses,” he added. This is the second acquisition by Infosys since Salil Parekh took over in January. Earlier in April, it acquired WONGDOODY, an award-winning creative agency in the US.
This acquisition also will align with Infosys’ efforts to invest in local capabilities in the regions where the company operates, Kumar added. Fluido is one of the largest and longest tenured independent salesforce platinum consulting partners in Europe and an authorised salesforce training delivery partner in the region.
Fluido has presence in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Slovakia, and will aid Infosys’ presence across the region with its workforce, client relationships and an effective local culture, company officials said.
