The 5th edition of NASSCOM 10K Start-ups’ initiative InnoTrek 2018 will see participation from 40 Indian start-ups.
The start-ups will participate in a week-long immersive programme at Silicon Valley from April 29 to May 5, according to a press release. The programme aims to provide the group of Indian technology entrepreneurs and founders an opportunity to get international exposure and encouragement through workshops, networking sessions, investor panels, expert roundtables and corporate briefings with subject matter experts and global veterans.
Of the 40 participating start-ups, 17 are deep tech start-ups and 10 from Kochi, Pune, Kozhikode and Vishakhapatnam.
KS Viswanathan, Vice-President (Industry Initiative), Nasscom, said in the press statement that Indian entrepreneurial landscape is witnessing emergence of focussed domain solutions, deep tech start-ups, and emerging enterprises from tier-II/III towns.
