Kellton Tech, a digital transformation solutions company, has signed a multi-year project with the US arm of the Swiss firm dormakaba, which develops access control and security solutions, for building a cloud-based IoT device connectivity solution.
“The smart intersection of cloud and IoT will help the client reduce time-to-market, enrich the customer experience, streamline operations, optimise operational costs, and improve quality of service at the same time,” a Kellton Tech statement has said.
“It is estimated that over 20.3 billion connected devices will be in use worldwide by 2019. The IoT market will grow to over $ 1.7 trillion by 2020,” it said. However, it has not divulged the size of the deal.
