Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has selected Mahindra Satyam as the implementing agency for the development and implementation of Integrated Surveyor License Management System (ISLMS).
“Based on the detailed scrutiny of the commercial proposals submitted by the shortlisted IT firms and further evaluation based on combined quality-cum-cost based system (CQCCBS), we have selected Mahindra Satyam to implement the solution,” Mr A Giridhar, Executive Director (Administration and Information Technology), said.
“Insurance companies offer three different groups of surveyors to assess losses of different magnitudes. They issue licences after following a procedure which is being done manually at present. The IT solution will make this process quicker and smooth,” he told Business Line.
