Mahindra Satyam has enhanced scope of its association with IT security solutions company Symantec Corp. The two firms will collaborate on security solutions for smart grid network security. “This will enhance our ability to deliver secure and effective smart grid services to utilities globally. The joint work will help us provide highly secure, reliable and robust smart grid solutions,” Mr Arvind Malhotra, Senior Vice-President of Mahindra Satyam, said here in a press release on Wednesday.
The duo would focus on delivering cyber security and compliance solutions. This combined approach will use Symantec's Smart Grid solutions for control centre security, data control and management, as well as device security. Symantec would benefit from the IT firm's expertise in deploying and managing Smart Grid solutions.
