Vadodara-based Matrix Comsec has launched an Internet-protocol based centralised video surveillance management solution for enterprises. The newly launched service, SATATYA SAMAS, a scalable centralised video surveillance management solution, will manage video surveillance for large and multi-location enterprises.
"This is specifically designed to meet the diverse and complex needs of large and mid-size organisations spread across multiple buildings, campuses and locations," the company said during the national launch in Ahmedabad.
The service is capable of centrally managing 100,000 cameras and 1,000 recording servers.
"With the launch of this cost-effective and feature-rich Video Surveillance Management solution, we hope to carve a niche in the IP video surveillance market," Managing Director of Matrix Comsec, Ganesh Jivani, said.
The product will be launched nationally, across Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata.
Managing video surveillance for large and multi-location enterprises is a different ball game compared to video surveillance for small organisations.
The product overcomes the difficulties faced by large organisation installations such as managing the increase in complexity with the increase in the number of locations, the need to adapt the existing enterprise networking, and IT infrastructure, monitoring multiple far-flung offices, plants, and branches in different time-zones.
