Megasoft Limited has posted a net profit of Rs 5.31 crore in the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, as against Rs 5.19 crore in the comparable quarter last year even as turnover slid marginally to Rs 40.13 crore from Rs 42.19 crore.
Employee costs too declined slightly to Rs 14.47 crore (Rs 14.64 crore), according to Mr G V Kumar, Managing Director, Megasoft.
For the first half, the company registered a turnover of Rs 80.19 crore (Rs 81.45 crore) and net profit of Rs 11.73 crore (Rs 9.36 crore).
