Mid-size IT services company MindTree has appointed its co-founder Parthasarathy N.S. as an executive director. Parthasarathy, who has over 25 years in the IT industry, is also the company’s President for Enterprise Service Lines, the company said in a statement to the stock exchanges. Further, Apurva Purohit, CEO of Music Broadcast Private Ltd that runs Radio City 91.1 FM, has been appointed to the company’s Board. He will also be a member of its audit committee with effect from January, the statement added. “As we move forward with our transition to be an expertise-led organisation, it will be extremely helpful to have the benefit of Purohit’s vast experience,” said Subroto Bagchi, Chairman, MindTree.

Last month, it announced the joining of Ramesh Pillai, a former HCL Tech veteran as the Senior Vice-President and Global Head of Hi-tech vertical and will report to Krishnakumar Natarajan, CEO and MD, MindTree.In another development, Mark Wilsdon has joined the company as Vice-President and Head of Sales for UK & EU regions. He will report to Scott Staples, co-founder and Head of Global Sales, the company said. Europe contributes 29 per cent to its revenues, which is similar to its competitors.
