The Thiruvananthapuram-based Innoz Technologies has bagged the prestigious MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) award for telecommunication at MIT's Technology Review Em Tech India Conclave in Bangalore recently.
Innoz received the award for SMSGyan, a mobile-based search engine that can work with different internet resources to give correct answers on verticals such as encyclopedia, dictionary, cricket scores, stock market and weather information.
With more than 10 million users, SMSGyan has become one of the fastest growing mobile services in the country. Recently Airtel has joined hands with the company to launch Airtel Gyan accessible to over 150 million customers in India, Mr Deepak Ravindran, CEO, Innoz Technologies said.
