Celkon-Airtel tie-up

Celkon Mobiles has tied up with Bharti Airtel to launch Millennium Dazzle Q44 phone. Priced at Rs 6,449, the phone will come with a free (Airtel) data of 500 mb on 3G for two months.

The dual-sim Android KitKat phone comes with a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and a 1,500 mAh batter, Murali Retineni, Executive Director of Celkon Mobiles, told a press conference after the launch of the new phone, the fourth in the Millennium series.

“We are going to focus on digital marketing to sell our products in the next few months. We are going to host programmes in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chennai with our brand ambassador and film actress Tamanna,” Y Guru, Chairman and Managing Director of the company said.

The company registered a turnover of Rs 850 crore last year.
