Smartphone maker HTC on Thursday launched Desire 10 pro in India, priced at ₹26,490. It will be available for sale in retail outlets by mid-December.

The new smartphone has high-resolution 20MP main camera and 13MP selfie camera, including a brand new Selfie Panorama mode that captures wide-angle pictures, and top-of-the-line features such as an ultra-fast fingerprint sensor.

The device is powered with HTC BoomSound audio profile and comes equipped with octa-core processor along with a 3,000mAh battery, the company said.

The company also unveiled the HTC 10 evo which is HTC’s renowned sculpted-by-light style that introduces the world’s first USB Type-C dual adaptive earphones that tailor sound to ears’ unique hearing abilities for a better audio experience.

To be launched in late December, the HTC 10 evo also features an all-metal unibody that is water, splash, and dust resistant. It has 5.5-inch display covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for increased resistance and visuals for vivid gaming, movies, and more, the company said.

“The Desire 10 pro is inspired by many of the same innovations that have made the flagship HTC 10 so popular making it the most brilliant Desire ever. The HTC 10 evo also showcases the same focus on driving evolution of smartphones especially in terms of audio technology,” Faisal Siddiqui, President-South Asia, HTC, said.
