Bolstering its product portfolio in the Indian market, Honor, Huawei’s sub-brand, on Thursday unveiled its new Honor 9i smartphone. Priced at Rs 17,999, the smartphone features dual camera set-ups on both the front and back and sports a full-view display. On the front, the device sports a 13-megapixel dual-lens and a 16-megapixel dual-lens on the back.
The company claims that it is the only phone in India to boast of two dual cameras and FullView FHD+ display.
The Honor 9i features a 5.9-inch full-HD display and a screen resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. The phone comes with metal unibody design.
It is powered by Honor’s own octa-core Kirin 659 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The 9i sports a 3340mAh battery and the company claims that it delivers power efficiency with talk time up to 20 hours.
The smartphone will be available on Flipkart in three variants – Prestige Gold, Aurora Blue and Graphite Black – from October 14.
