Mobile handset-maker Intex Technologies is ready to launch nine feature phones and 16 smartphones in the coming three months.
Sharad Agarwal, Product Head of Intex Tech, made the announcement here on the occasion of the launch of Aqua A4 model smartphone priced at ₹4,199. He said there was great response to Aqua A4 model released during the recently-concluded IPL. He said it was the lowest priced Android 7-powered smartphone in the market now, weighing 119.5 gm and sporting a sleek look.
During the past three months, the company had released eight smartphones in the range of ₹4,000-8,000 into the market, he said.
Agarwal said the company had set up 120 branded stores in 90 cities in the country and the number would go up to 400 in the next two years. A store would be set up in Visakhapatnam, he added. It has four manufacturing units at Noida and one in Himachal Pradesh.
