Motorola’s ‘Moto X Style’ was officially launched here on Thursday and will be available through the company’s exclusive online retail partner Flipkart from October 14.

The model is priced at ₹29,999 (16 GB) and ₹31,999 (32 GB) and the company announced various offers that will be valid between October 14-20, including an exchange offer up to ₹15,000, 100 per cent cash back for 100 customers and holiday deals.

“Over a period of time, we kept thinking about how we could improve the Moto X range. This phone is built on the concept of ‘Beautility’ where the product looks good without any compromise on the performance,” said Amit Boni, General Manager, Motorola India.

The Moto X Style, which will be available in black and white variants, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB RAM. It sports a Corning Gorilla Glass 3-protected 5.7-inch display of Quad-HD resolution (1440x2560 pixels). The device’s storage capacity is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.

The device has a 21 megapixel rear camera and a 5MP front camera which comes with an in-built flash, and has secured DxOMark score of 83.

The Moto X Style also has a 3,000 mAh battery, which the company claims can last up to 30 hours on a single charge. The TurboPower 25 charger is included with the handset and Boni said it would take a mere 15 minutes to achieve 8 hours of charge.

Additionally, the phone is water-repellent and supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, and other options for connectivity. The Style also has dual front facing stereo speakers with smart boost.

It will also feature many of Motorola’s own appssuch as Moto Assist, Moto Display, Moto Actions and Moto Voice.

“At present, it will run on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) but will be updated later,” Boni added.
