Lenovo-owned smartphone maker, Motorola, on Monday launched two new handsets – the Moto g6 and g6 Play – priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 11,999. The Moto g6 will be exclusively sold on Amazon and at Moto Hub stores. It will be available in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants, starting at Rs 13,999. The Moto g6 play will be exclusively sold through Flipkart and Moto Hub stores, the company said.
The smartphones have a glass design and the speed and power of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, it said. The g6 has a 14.5 cm (5.7 inch) Full HD+ Max Vision display and a 3D glass back. It has dual rear 12MP + 5MP cameras and a multifunctional fingerprint reader. It has a 16MP front-facing camera, with low light mode and 3000mAh battery.
The Moto g6 Play has a 13MP camera and an 8MP selfie camera with a LED flash that includes beautification mode. It has a 4000mAh that can last up to 36 hours on a single charge, the company said.
The smartphone has artificial intelligence-based features that sharpen the camera work. “We are one of the first companies to use the ‘smart creative camera’ based on Google smart lens,” said Shashank Sharma, Asia Pacific Head, Lenovo Mobile Business and Executive Director.
