Online payments company PayPal today launched ‘Refunded Returns’ in India that will allow online shoppers get up to US$ 15 of the cost of return shipping for international transactions.
PayPal users can activate the service on their PayPal account for free. Consumers can return the product to the merchant by filing a claim online on PayPal’s platform within 14 days of the ship back, PayPal Managing Director and Country Manager India Vikram Narayan said.
After applying for a refund, if approved, PayPal will process a refund of up to US$ 15 of the shipping cost per eligible transactions to the consumer’s PayPal account, it added.
Consumers are eligible for one refund per month and on a single transaction.
