Enterprise software player Ramco Systems on Tuesday said it has bagged an order from Nigeria-based Caverton Helicopters to implement its advanced modules for flight operations, safety compliance among others. A part of Caverton Offshore Support Group, Caverton Helicopters handles emergency medical evacuation, search and rescue operations, and provides logistics services to the offshore oil and gas sector. “Ramco will deploy its advanced modules for flight operations, safety compliance and reporting, Maintenance, repair and overhaul for Coverton which operates a fleet of 30 helicopters”, a company statement said.

“Our partnership with Caverton underscores our track record in the helicopter segment where we count 7 of the Top 10 Heli Operators in the US (by fleet size),” Ramco Systems, CEO, Virender Aggarwal said.

“We are confident that with Ramco’s one stop solution, Caverton will now harness the software’s innovative features to cut out inefficiencies, and optimise aircraft and customer management”, he said.

On awarding the order to Ramco Systems, Caverton Helicopters Ltd., Managing Director Captain Josiah Choms said, .

“By having Ramco’s integrated system, Caverton will now be able to coordinate flight and maintenance schedules efficiently, assist automation.”

As per the deal, Ramco Systems would implement its Aviation M&E, MRO Solutions version 5.8. Caverton operations team would be able to view multiple indicators and processes on single dashboard, a company statement said.

Apart from reducing manpower and human error, the suite will also improve maintenance schedules, fleet forecasting, management of logistics, it said. PTI VIJ APR APR 04161544
